NYC New York Color – Liquid Lipshine in Nude York City – Review

NYC LL

This is a brand I am familiar with. They’re very inexpensive, and their nail polishes rock. I was excited to try out this because 1) it claimed to be non-sticky, and 2) the color sounded fun!

First I have to say that the scent of the gloss is kind of amazing. I can’t quite place it but it’s not chemical at all. The color, sadly, was sooo close to my natural color it seemed to just make it look more highlighted. It is easy to apply and the consistency is nice. I can also honestly say I didn’t once get hair stuck to my mouth, though after applying it I thought I would.

Unfortunately it seemed to wear off fast. I would actually like to try it in a different, darker, color and see if it really did or if it only seemed to because it wasn’t sticky. Check out the before and after below:

Kiss Nail Dress – Shrug Review

Kiss Nail Dress

Okay these are pretty much the bomb. I really have so very little to say about them because they’re so easy and they work. Basically they’re like a sticker, for your nail. No dry time, no smudging. They last for days and come in all kinds of designs. Each package has a ton of sizes, enough for 2 manis and a pedi! Plus they’re super easy to take off. Love <3 Check them out on my hand below.

I know this seems way too short but I honestly don’t know what else to say! They’re frickin’ awesome, go buy them. They must be experienced!

Goody – QuikStyle Review

QuickStyle

I had heard about this brush and even seen it in stores before I received it. However it’s pretty pricey so I wasn’t sure about purchasing. Thankfully it’s Influenster to the rescue!

IMG-20121229-00319My hair actually dries to damp pretty fast, so I was curious if this would make it dry completely. Usually I just let my hair air dry so I decided it’d be best to try it first under real world situations. The first time I used it I didn’t notice that it made my hair dry any faster. Also it says the little microfiber fingers will flatten, and to pop them back up just flip the brush over and whack the back, which didn’t seem to work.

IMG-20121229-00316The next time I used a hair dryer, and that seemed to make a little bit of a difference. I also had success in the whacking of the back of the brush. I’ve used it every time I’ve washed my hair since I received it, and it’s growing on me. I don’t think I’d have actually bought it though.
